Description: A Biomedical Technician, also known as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET), is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating complex medical equipment within a healthcare facility, ensuring its proper functionality and safety by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and providing technical support to medical staff on the use of the equipment; they often need to stay updated on the latest medical technology and adhere to strict safety regulations.

Requirements: A bachelors degree in biomedical engineering or technology, or a similar field.
A minimum of 2 years experience as a biomedical technician.
Exceptional knowledge of the structure and uses of biomedical equipment.
Solid technical skills and the ability to repair machinery with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in laymans terms.
Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
