Description: Maintain equipment: Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments to medical equipment
Repair equipment: Disassemble, repair, and reassemble medical equipment
Install equipment: Install new medical equipment
Test equipment: Test medical equipment for safety and functionality
Train staff: Teach staff how to use medical equipment safely and properly
Prepare reports: Create performance reports for equipment
Troubleshoot: Identify and fix issues with medical equipment
Design implants: Help design and develop implants for use in operations

Requirements: A bachelors degree in biomedical engineering or technology, or a similar field.
A minimum of 2 years experience as a biomedical technician.
Exceptional knowledge of the structure and uses of biomedical equipment.
Solid technical skills and the ability to repair machinery with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in laymans terms.
Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment.
Proficient dexterity and hand-eye coordination, as well as physical stamina to lift heavy equipment.
