- A Dermato Therapist, also known as a Dermal Therapist or Skin Therapist, assesses clients skin conditions, recommends appropriate skincare products and treatments, and may perform procedures like facials and peels. They provide skincare advice, educate clients on proper hygiene and skincare practices, and may also recommend professional treatments like laser therapies or microneedling.
- Requirements
- Medical Degree with specialization in Dermatology.
Completion of all three parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam.
Completion of a 3-year dermatology residency.
Attainment of a medical license.
Proficiency with dermatological tools such as comedone extractors, lancet extractors, and cryogens.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in mathematics.
