Description: A Nurse Educator is a registered nurse (RN) who serves as a teacher for other nurses and individuals who wish to become nurses. Their duties include:
Developing lesson plans
Giving lectures
Evaluating students in clinical settings and through examinations and assignments
Designing, evaluating, updating, and implementing nursing education curricula
Serving as advisers and role models for students
Instructing student nurses, designing curriculum, teaching medical skills, and assisting with clinical rotations

Requirements: A masters or doctoral degree in nursing.
A Certified Nurse Education certification.
A Registered Nursing Licence.
A strong clinical background.
A working knowledge of the theories of education and learning to design curricula.
Current working knowledge of clinical procedures and protocols.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
