Description
As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care by using your specialized knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in helping patients regain their mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their overall quality of life.



Key Responsibilities:



- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose orthopedic conditions.



- Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient based on their individual needs and goals.



- Perform surgeries and other procedures as needed, utilizing the latest techniques and technologies to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.



- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and ensure coordinated care for patients.



- Provide expert advice and guidance to other medical professionals, including junior doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists.



- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in the field of orthopedic surgery to continually improve patient care.



- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for each patient, adhering to confidentiality and data protection regulations.


Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
4 to 7 years’ internship and residency training, specializing in orthopedic surgery.
Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination of the United States (COMLEX-USA).
Certification by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in orthopedic surgery and/or a subspecialty, such as sports medicine, reconstructive surgery, trauma, or pediatrics.
Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
Exceptional attention to detail.
