Description: Prepare equipment: Set up equipment for procedures, including anesthesia machines, oxygen, nitrous oxide, and air
Prepare patients: Assist with positioning patients for procedures
Monitor patients: Monitor patients vital signs and ensure equipment is working properly
Assist with procedures: Help with intubation, extubation, and other procedures
Maintain equipment: Clean, calibrate, and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment
Maintain supplies: Ensure there are enough supplies of anesthesia drugs and medical oxygen
Maintain records: Keep accurate records of anesthesia procedures and equipment inventory
Support emergencies: Provide support during emergencies involving anesthesia
Collaborate with surgical teams: Work with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
Follow protocols: Follow sterile techniques and infection control protocols

Requirements: Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field
Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT)
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
