- Histopathologists study tissue samples to screen for and diagnose disease. They select the most suitable tissue samples for microscopic examination, study cell abnormalities, and write reports to communicate their findings to other medical personnel.
- Requirements
- A Ph.D. in medicine.
A minimum of 4 years of specialist training in histopathology.
Extensive knowledge of tissue sampling and analysis techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional clinical supervision skills to lead the biomedical team.
Regular presentation of tissue and cell diagnostic reports.
